Hello, Hive black-and-white photography lovers!

I needed a distraction on my way to work. I had barely managed to get any rest the night before; my chest ached from relentless nightmares. Images and memories kept tightening their grip on my throat as dawn broke, and I needed to stop dwelling on the darkness.

I needed to halt the avalanche of thoughts and smile again.

The commute to work is long. It rarely offers much to distract me, so I decided to let myself be drawn to the tiny, the imperceptible...

It was still very early. The sun was just beginning to bathe with its rays the petals of the small flowers that greeted it, standing slender and tall.

The green of the blades of grass seemed to take pride in the sparkle of each dewdrop on their surface.

The thorns, as if seeking someone to wound, did not seem so hostile when viewed in the context of their surroundings.

Time passed, and with it, the sun continued to rise, caressing the delicate lines of the blade of grass...

And so, fortunate enough to experience what might have gone unnoticed, I smile and bid you farewell for now—until the next black-and-white frame—but not without first sending each of you a hug filled with light!

Remember: don't forget to smile!

Recuerden, ¡no olviden sonreír!
