Good morning, everyone, photography lovers on #photofeed!

Today is a special day, not for any specific reason, but because it's another day when we can smile and delight in the small details of nature.

So, I'm taking advantage of this sunrise to share with you this beautiful flower of Cereus, a cactus from the Cactaceae family that can grow up to 15 meters tall.

Later, I'll tell you about this unique cactus, which is part of my garden and currently stands at about 8 meters tall.

For now, in response to the contest that @photofeed offers us this week, we will only contemplate the wonder of the flower, named by many as the blue night gallant.

It's not an aromatic flower, but the delicate yet robust properties of its petals, their texture, color, and the arrangement they form with their crown of pistils, give it a hypnotic power to anyone who pauses to examine it, beyond the mystery of its exclusively nocturnal bloom.

I particularly love this flower because of the similarity its petals have with bird feathers. Go ahead and tell us what you think about it, if you've been able to see it up close, touch it, feel it...

Hoy es un día especial, no por algo específico, sino porque es otro día en el que podemos sonreír y deleitarnos con los pequeños detalles de la naturaleza.

Así, aprovecho este amanecer para compartir con ustedes esta hermosa flor de Cereus, cactus de la familia Cactaceae y que puede llegar a medir unos 15 metros de altura.

Más adelante les hablaré sobre este singular cactus que forma parte de mi jardín y actualmente tiene unos 8 metros de altura.

Por ahora, como respuesta al concurso que @photofeed nos ofrece esta semana, solo nos quedaremos contemplando la maravilla de la flor, nombrada por muchos como galán de noche azulado.

No es una flor aromática, pero la delicada y a la vez consistente propiedad de sus pétalos, su textura, color, y el conjunto que conforma junto a su corona de pistilos, le confieren un hipnótico poder a quien se detenga a detallarla, más allá del misterio en su floración exclusivamente nocturna.

A mí en lo particular me encanta esta flor por la similitud que tienen sus pétalos con las plumas de las aves. Anímense y dígannos qué piensan sobre ella, si la han podido ver de cerca, tocar, sentir...
