Some people think that poets like rain and bird migration in the dichotomy of wet wings.
Others believe they've seen one
hiding behind a column,
where the signs reveal stories
that were never told in the rain
or uttered
in ministerial speeches.
Poets
don't walk barefoot in the rain
alongside ministers
being ministers.
(This can be a phrase
to begin a speech,
although sometimes poets
don't walk barefoot)
Now there's someone wet on the balconies.
No one knows if he's a poet
because poets
don't have poetic names either
even if they walk in the rain.
On another corner,
they closed the doors
to prevent the ministers from entering
and discovering the truth.
Then,
someone turns on lights
next to the flag...
And others get lost
chasing signs
while walking barefoot
in the rain.

Algunos piensan
que a los poetas les gusta la lluvia
y la migración de aves
en la dicotomía de alas mojadas.
Otros creen haber visto a uno
escondido detrás de alguna columna,
donde las señales delatan historias
que nunca fueron dichas bajo la lluvia
ni pronunciadas
en discursos de los ministros.
Los poetas
no caminan descalzos bajo la lluvia
junto a ministros
siendo ministros.
(Esta puede ser una frase
para comenzar un discurso,
aunque a veces
los poetas no caminen descalzos)
Ahora en los balcones hay alguien mojado.
Nadie sabe si es un poeta
porque los poetas
tampoco es que tengan un nombre de poetas
aunque caminen bajo la lluvia.
En otra esquina,
clausuraron puertas
para impedir que entren los ministros
y descubran la verdad.
Entonces,
alguien prende luces
junto a la bandera...
Y otros se pierden
para perseguir señales
mientras caminan descalzos
bajo la lluvia.
