There is another 2 days before the deadline of the proposal that I am currently working on. These 2 days is considered the most critical day. I need to double check all of the proposed solution, the architecture / design, the bill of materials, the statement of work, and most importantly; the pricing.
I was really stressed out this morning. After the checkpoint meeting, my boss suddenly wanted to add another section in the proposal. That section gonna cost me at least one day to complete. I have another section that I haven't completed yet, and it is a mandatory section.
Feeling stressed, and I just noticed that I haven't had my breakfast yet. I looked at the time. It was 10am, and I felt that I need to go down and buy something from the MyNews convenience store.
myNEWS.com is a homegrown press and retail convenience chain located in Malaysia: (Wikipedia Link for MyNews)
Once I reach at MyNews, I can see the queue was really long. Especially the queue for the Maru coffee that is sold at MyNews. I wanted to purchase a tuna sandwich and a latte. But after seeing the queue, my urge to drink coffee suddenly disappear.
I suddenly remember that there were a small sandwich shop just recently opened inside the mall, just next to the money changer. I was thinking that I wanted to try their sandwich, so I walk in into the mall.
The sandwich shop is named "Wake Up Bar". The setup of the sandwich shop is really simple, just a kiosk for the crew to prepare the sandwich, and four dine-in table. Each table can accommodate only 2 person.

I looked at the menu, and I saw a varieties of sandwich to choose from. Below is some of the sandwich that is available at Wake Up Bar:
After looking at the menu for few minutes, I've decided to order one (1) mini Egg Chizu for take away.
This is the sandwich shop that was recently opened at my office area. For me, their current location is a bit hidden to the customers. If only they were able to find a better location within the mall, I'm sure they will be able to get a lot more customer.
The mini Egg Chizu that I ordered was priced at 2.2USD. A bit pricey compared to MyNews sandwich. But Wake Up Bar's sandwich was prepared fresh on the spot upon order. While MyNews's sandwich is a prepacked sandwich.
There were 2 crew at the time I was there. One of them were frying the scrambled egg. I saw her pour the egg mixture on top of the non-stick pan on the stove. Next I saw her sprinkled some black pepper powder and salt. After few minutes, she then proceed to remove the eggs and handed it to the next crew that was waiting with the bread.
Before the egg is passed to the next crew, I noticed that he was preparing the toast bread and dressing it with salad, onion and chili sauce. On top of the dressing, he then put slices of cheese. I think it was two slice of cheese that he put.
Then he carefully pickup the egg, and stack it on top of the bread. Which he then proceed to wrap and slice the sandwich into two. The sandwich is then being wrap in another layer of wrapping paper before put inside a brown paper bag.
After getting my ordered sandwich, I rush back to office because I wanted to eat the sandwich while continue working on my proposal. Instead of eating at the pantry, I was eating at my table.
Even though the sandwich was named 'Mini Egg Chizu', there is nothing mini about it. I was struggling to finish the whole sandwich. I even offered half of it to my colleague.
The Egg Chizu sandwich really does fill my stomach. Luckily I ordered the mini version instead of the regular one. Come to think of it, 2.2USD for this portion of sandwich is worth the price ๐
That's all for today. Thank you for reading!!!
