Last year in December, one of my coworker, a nicest friend from former company, got married. It was an arranged marriage and held in Islamabad, far away from our hometown Karachi. So, we (friends and colleagues) were unable to attend his big event. In November, I switched my job so, was not in contact with him as well. Just had hello hi on WhatsApp couple of times.
Talking about this guy, he is one of the most calm and coolest person I have ever met. He didn’t take anything seriously but handle situations perfectly. He was famous at work because of his funny attitude and jokes. He used to say so many funny things in serious mode infront of managers and never got caught. He was talented and a lovely personality but then he got married and ………….. :P
As we didn’t attend his wedding and the treat was due on him, he called and asked to meet at Food Street in SMCHS, Karachi. This place is full of some nice restaurants. It was good to see him after couple of months but as he is newlywed now, we need to taunt him every now and then, that is how we treat our newlywed friends. He is such a funny character, I don’t have words to describe him LOL
It was hard to select the restaurant to sit and have dinner. My mood was for Pizza so they both agreed and we headed to Broadway Pizza, one of the luxurious pizza in town. There are too many pizza shops in Karachi now but only selected brands know how to make a proper pizza. Broadway Pizza is one of them. They focus on quality and quantity of toppings but yes, they are expensive as compare to other ordinary pizza shops. I really liked their flavors and crust stuff. Staff took our order and asked to wait for 30 mins.
Now my man started sharing his stories. He was very happy and excited. I won’t be sharing those stories here LOL. One of the funniest thing about him was he is doing that job just to get married. Actually, he is running a cattle farm but his soul-mate is from UK and his in-laws are well educated and well established businessman. What do you do or what is your occupation? Just to answer this question, he was doing a job in a private company. Now, he shared his plans that he will resign soon and will focus on his business and start few new setups. It was a great fun time with him, you will never get bored with this guy, such a lovely heart person.
We spent couple of hours together, I must say some quality time, so much of laugh that I got pain in my jaws. Pizza was awesome and we really enjoyed the day.
