As humans, we all are supposed to have some traits that people would benefit from because if we don't have some traits in us it would be hard for others to relate with us.
Here are the three value traits I wish everyone had:
Kindness: we live in a world where nothing is funny, a world where nobody cares how others are doing all they want is to survive meanwhile, we need eachother to survive in life. Imagine someone that has a big company and he doesn't people that would work for him because he thinks he doesn't need them, I am sure he can't do everything alone.
Also, a boss who is not kind to his employees is simply wishing for the company's downfall because his employees wouldn't mind seeing him fall since he didn't care about them.
All I am saying is that being kind to others will make the world a better place for everyone to live in with peace and harmony.
Some weeks ago, I wanted to buy milk for my baby, in the shop I went to get the milk I saw an old woman begging the owner of the shop to give her rice on credit and the woman refused to sell it for the old woman, the money on me was for my kids but I couldn't overlook the fact that such an old woman is begging for food, so I paid for half paint of rice and the woman sold it for me.
I handed it over to the old woman and the owner of the shop was surprised and then she asked if I had known her before.
I told her that it is not until I know someone before I can be kind to them, because life is too short to hold people's help. And she said, madam, you are so kind and I pray people don't take it for granted. Yes, I know some people would take it for granted but that shouldn't stop me from helping others in the little way I could. If everyone is kind the world will be peaceful and good for us all.
Love: love is beautiful and it is not until a boy dates a girl that they can love one another, love is what keeps us all together because if we don't love our neighbors we wouldn't like to stay around them.
Not everyone is capable of loving or returning the love given to them, but people who have a good heart to love unconditionally shouldn't stop sharing the love because of those who can't reciprocate the love back to others. Even the Bible says that we should love one another like ourselves, but then I am only wishing people could have that soft mind to love others like themselves.
I live in a 3 bedroom apartment which we don't share anything with our neighbors, including pumping machines we don't share so we have nothing to discuss, but I was raised to love others and help them. When I first got into the compound, I noticed if anyone spread cloth and it rains, nobody will help the person to pack the cloth but ever since I got into the compound I do help because I know how hard it is to wash clothes. It is not like I am perfect but I made sure I people I have come across in the little way I could, some months later my neighbors started to help eachother to pack clothes and I felt happy because I was able to share the love around, and to change their minds.
Respect: respect is reciprocal they say but some people don't have a little respect in them which is not good enough, we all are trained by our parents, we were given a good home training but the moment some left their parent's house they will throw the respect away. Which is affecting them even though they choose not to see it.
We all can't be the same but still, there are valuable traits we should all have as a human to live a peaceful and good life.
