The sun was a little visible today, and in the afternoon I was very excited to take a walk to breathe fresh air in the village, riding a motorbike I didn't think was a bad idea at the time, because the weather was indeed sunny and supportive, accompanied by a friend I finally did started moving from one village to another
I chose a shortcut that was directly connected to the road that led to the mountainous area, and at the beginning of our journey we were immediately greeted by an amazing natural beauty, upon arrival in front of one of the army complexes I see a little sun shining behind the black clouds, if it's not covered by the clouds, then I'm sure I'll be back to see the beautiful nature disco lights馃槄, as I shared some time ago
Without stopping I immediately continued my journey and I just took pictures directly from the top of the motorbike and didn't pull over at all, just slowed down my motorbike a little, which happened to be in Kendari by my friend
The straight road and the trees around it make the natural scenery look even more perfect, the cool air makes this trip feel very pleasant, I deliberately chose the mountainous area just to breathe the fresh air that is here, and this area It's not too far from my house, although I rarely pass this road, but I can admire the nature around it
But everything changed when I started to go through another road that leads home, a sad sight began to appear, an area that used to be a large rice field, now turned into a sea, and all of that is the effect of the rain that has continued to occur in the last few days.
Look at that, the left and right of this road really becomes the ocean, but on the one hand, the farmers in this area are a little lucky because they have harvested their rice before the floods hit, but some of their houses are now starting to enter water, I didn't take pictures of the incident That, because I didn't want to be seen as laughing at the suffering they were experiencing, I didn't even get off the motorbike and immediately continued on my way back to my hometown to see the situation in the rice fields of my own region.
Rice fields This is located about one kilometer from my house, and as soon as I arrived in this area I started to feel sad to see the atmosphere around, 70% of the rice here had all sunk, and this was the third time, only 30% of the farmers managed to harvest rice. they, and even then have to wade through the flood, although smiles appear on their faces, I am sure and really understand how they feel at this time
The person wearing the hat is my neighbour, that's why I dared to take some pictures, he was just getting ready to transport his rice from the water, and dry it on the mainland before the rice thresher arrived, actually this rice has not really entered the harvest period, but there is no hope if you have to wait for the actual harvest time, you are afraid that the water will drown the entire rice field without being seen at all, if nature has willed of course no one can refuse it
On the other hand, I was able to ask about the current price of rice, and thankfully the price is expensive, even though the rice is not good, the buyers offer high prices for these farmers, but not all farmers can feel the results of their sweat, there are lots of small communities those who feel a great loss, just imagine, they have sown seeds three times, and can't get any results, this is what I call, the sadness behind the visible beauty of nature
To be honest, when night came, I still thought a little about the fate of these farmers, and to relieve my stress, I decided to go to a cafe to drink coffee.
griya kupi Is a coffee shop that just opened a while ago, now this place is one of the favorite places to drink coffee, apart from the beauty of the place, the taste of the coffee here is really good, since it opened until today, I can't take it anymore Count how many times I've been here
This place is dominated by students who happen to be studying not far from here, they are busy doing assignments, playing games and some other youth activities, here is the atmosphere seen in this place
When I first arrived, this place still looks quiet, but if I'm a little late, then I won't get a seat, just a few minutes later, this cafe is really full, and the atmosphere is immediately lively, this cafe actually has two floors, but then the top is still not ready, so everyone has to be located on the ground floor, and this place is really comfortable, the decoration, the food and drinks deserve a thumbs up
