Hello Hivers
The dry season seems to have arrived, it has been almost a month in our area without rain, therefore, it's a bit difficult to find mushrooms at this time, but for this Friday, I have some pictures of mushrooms that I found in a banana garden, where there are two groups that have the same type, but have a different look, this is my contribution to #fungifriday by @ewkaw
Gymnopilus luteofolius, known as yellow gill gymnopilus , is a large and widespread fungus that grows in dense clusters on hardwoods and dead conifers. It grows in late July to November in the east and in winter on the west coast of North America. It has a rusty orange spore print and a bitter taste
source
This first group consists of only a few stems and they grow in a unique way, some of which are intertwined with a living tree, but even so, we can still see the beauty
Their gills are very beautiful, with yellow and white under the umbrella, and they also belong to the Gymnopilus family, known for their unique gill shape.
From some of the pictures, what really caught my attention were the clusters that were growing squashed together, they consisted of several stems and made it difficult for me to photograph them, but after several attempts, I finally managed to get some of the best pictures.
After being satisfied, I went to another location, and again found the same type of mushroom, everything looked the same, only some of them had rotted
The pattern and shape almost resemble one hundred percent, but I found this group in another location which is also not far from the previous location, they also consist of several groups, each of which has a unique appearance as well
Unfortunately, some of them have rotted, maybe because the weather is too hot which makes some of these young mushrooms die faster, but we can still clearly see the beauty that other mushrooms have.
In some countries April may be the long-awaited winter, but here the season is still uncertain, and it's a little difficult to find mushrooms at this time, lucky I have a banana garden that has humid temperatures, and those are some of the best pictures I have for this friday
For now, that's all I can share, I hope you guys like it and see you soon
