Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing amazing and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Time for another card spotlight, and today I wanted to talk about a card that honestly confused me at first. The card is, Savaketh.
This is a Legendary Death unit, and at max level it has some really unusual abilities.
When I first saw the card, I thought "Okay, cool artwork, but what exactly is this thing supposed to do?"
After reading its abilities more carefully, I realized that Savaketh isn't really about dealing huge damage. Instead, it's one of those cards that can support your entire team in ways people might not expect.
And honestly, that's kinda interesting.
Stat-wise, Savaketh looks pretty decent:
9 Mana
4 Magic Damage
10 Health
3 Speed
3 Armor
Not bad at all.
The artwork also deserves some love. I mean, this giant octopus-looking mage with glowing hands just looks awesome.
Definitely one of the cooler looking Death cards in my opinion.
Redemption: When defeated, deals 1 physical damage to all enemy units.
This ability activates when Savaketh gets defeated.
Instead of simply disappearing, it deals 1 physical damage to ALL enemy units.
And honestly, this can be surprisingly useful.
If the enemy team already has low health monsters, Redemption can finish multiple units at once.
Sometimes losing a card can actually help you win.
Pretty funny when that happens.
Invigorate: Allied units cannot be Exhausted.
Now this ability is really unique.
All allied units cannot become Exhausted.
Since Exhaustion mechanics are becoming more important in some battles, this ability can be super valuable.
Your team just keeps attacking normally while the enemy might start missing turns.
That sounds pretty annoying for opponents.
I feel like this card works best in longer battles.
The high health means it can survive for awhile, and even after getting defeated, Redemption still provides value.
Meanwhile, Invigorate protects the whole team from Exhaustion effects.
It's not one of those flashy cards that instantly destroys enemies.
Instead, it provides support and consistency.
And sometimes that's exactly what wins games.
Savaketh is honestly a card I almost ignored.
At first, I didn't really understand why it existed.
But after looking deeper, I think it's one of those cards that becomes stronger depending on the ruleset and team composition.
The combination of high magic damage, Redemption, and Invigorate makes it a very interesting support unit.
And honestly, that artwork alone makes me want to play the card.
It looks like some ancient sea god ready to destroy everyone.
Anyway thats it for today’s #splinterlands grind. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
