I was searching for a monster card like this for a very long time. A monster card with 1 mana but amazing powers and abilities. I finally found one. Today I want to share its details with you guys.
This is a 1 mana monster card. When you look at its stats and abilities you will notice that even many high mana monster cards do not have this kind of power. This card also has two important abilities that make it useful in almost any type of battle while costing only 1 mana.
One thing to keep in mind is that in Splinterlands, monster cards with either low mana or very high mana often become very expensive... Some of these monster cards are so expensive that many players may never be able to buy them...
Today I am going to discuss the Halfling Refugee monster card.
The Halfling Refugee monster card is the one I am going to talk about.
First lets talk about its appearance. The Halfling Refugee monster card looks like a boy wearing a flying cloak. He is holding a lantern in his hand and always seems to be searching for a path.
As a refugee the Halfling Refugee monster card is constantly traveling and wherever he sees enemy monsters he places a curse on them. I really like the design of the Halfling Refugee monster card.
Now lets look at its stats and powers. The Halfling Refugee monster card is a 1 mana monster with 8 health at Level 6. This is health for such a low mana monster card. The Halfling Refugee monster card can easily survive for three to four rounds. If you place it in a well protected position it can even stay alive until the end of the battle. The best position for the Halfling Refugee monster card is backline.
The only disadvantage is that the Halfling Refugee monster card has no armor which's one of its weaknesses.
The Halfling Refugee monster card has 3 Speed allowing it to attack quickly and making it harder for enemy attacks to hit. The Halfling Refugee monster card is also an attacker with 5 melee damage at Level 6. That makes the Halfling Refugee monster card a strong damage dealer. Every round the Halfling Refugee monster card attacks enemy units with 5 melee damage. Continues dealing heavy damage throughout the battle.
At Level 6 the Halfling Refugee monster card has two abilities such as Weary and Heal.
The Weary ability works like this... At the beginning of Round 1 Weary units have a 10% chance to become Exhausted. This chance increases by 10% every round up to a maximum of 80%.
An Exhausted unit skips its turn. Cannot retaliate.
Many players get confused about the Weary ability. Think that Weary increases the enemys chance of becoming Exhausted. That is not true. The Weary ability is not an ability. The Weary ability is actually considered an ability because it affects the Halfling Refugee monster card that has it.
Many people also ask how to counter the Weary ability. The best counter is to use a monster card with the Invigorate ability.
If you are using the Halfling Refugee monster card with Weary it is better to include a monster card with Invigorate on your team well. Invigorate prevents units from becoming Exhausted allowing you to avoid the downside of Weary.
The second important ability is Heal. The Heal ability restores one-third of the Halfling Refugee monster cards health every round. This means the Halfling Refugee monster cards health keeps recovering during the battle making it more durable and increasing its survivability.
Now lets talk about the Halfling Refugee monster cards price and rating which is probably what most players are interested in.
At the levels the Halfling Refugee monster card is available for around $2.20. As you continue upgrading it the price increases significantly. Surprisingly a Level 6 Halfling Refugee monster card costs around $80 making it an expensive monster card.
The reason could be that the Halfling Refugee monster card is very rare or its demand has increased over time.
However if you cannot afford to buy the Halfling Refugee card you can always rent it instead.
A Level 6 monster card usually costs around 69 to 70 DEC, per day to rent. You can add the Halfling Refugee monster card to your deck. Take advantage of its powerful stats and abilities without spending a large amount of money.
