Hello my fellow Splinterlands Warriors,

Welcome back to another fresh and awesome Splinterlands post, and I hope all of you are doing absolutely great in your lives and enjoying another amazing day with your family and friends. Now, for those of you who are actively engaging in this Web3 game, I hope you are already pushing your trophy count in this ongoing ranked and frontier season as well, while eagerly waiting for the upcoming weekend. Right now, there are only around 23 hours and 49 minutes left before the current ranked season comes to an end. That means we are now entering the final hours of the season, and there is not much time left to push our trophies and complete our season goals. Whether you are steadily making progress and reaching your goal league tier or securing a seat in the top champion leaderboard, I hope you are making the most of these final hours.

Now, talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode, as usual, I am currently battling in the highest Gold I league and sitting at around 3860 trophies. Since the season is almost over, my current goal is to reach at least somewhere between 4000 and 4200 trophies before the season ends. There is still a little bit of time left, so I am hoping to squeeze out a few more wins and finish this season on a good note.

Apart from that, today marks my 134th consecutive day of maintaining my Frontier Daily Wheel streak. Today I received 5 Frontier Battle Energy, which is always useful for continuing my Frontier activities. My total Spark balance has now reached 19,493. Slowly but steadily, the daily rewards are adding up, and I am happy that I have managed to maintain this streak for so many days.

Now moving on to the weekly raffle, the previous raffle has just ended, and I managed to collect a total of 69 entries. And finally, after all those entries, I actually won a Black Foil Vengeful Monk! That was definitely a very nice surprise from the raffle, and getting a Black Foil card as the reward made the result even more satisfying. Now that the previous raffle is finished, the new raffle has already started, and I currently have 0 entries. There are around 5 days and 22 hours left before the next raffle ends, so I have plenty of time to build up my entries again. This time, my target is to reach somewhere between 54 and 57 entries, and hopefully I can collect enough entries and get another interesting reward from the next raffle.

I also opened 6 packs recently and got 1 Epic card, 8 Rare cards including 3 Archons, 2 Gold Foil Common cards, and the rest were Common cards. So overall, this was another pretty interesting pack opening, especially with the 3 Archons and 2 Gold Foil Common cards joining my collection.

Savaketh

Now moving on to today's featured monster, let us take a closer look at another interesting monster from the newest Reward card set. As you have already seen in the title above, today we will be discussing Savaketh. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this undefeated heavy Magic thrower and its unusual combination of offensive and defensive abilities, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.

Savaketh is a monster type card that comes from the Death element and belongs to the Tideborn bloodline. It is a Legendary type card, so you would require a total of 11 BCX cards to upgrade it to max level. It costs 9 mana to deploy and uses Magic attacks, making it a high-mana monster that is better suited for medium to high mana limit battles where you have enough mana available to bring a powerful unit onto the battlefield. At maximum level, this monster possesses two different abilities, giving it a combination of battlefield damage and allied utility. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues.

BRONZE

At Level 1, Savaketh possesses 2 Magic attack, 3 Speed, 1 Armor, and a massive 10 Health. Even at its first level, this monster already has a very solid defensive foundation thanks to its high Health and Armor, along with a decent amount of Speed.

SILVER

At Level 2, Savaketh maintains 2 Magic attack and 3 Speed while its Armor increases to 2. Its Health remains at an impressive 10, and at this stage it unlocks a useful ability called REDEMPTION.

REDEMPTION – When defeated, deals 1 physical damage to all enemy units.

GOLD

At Level 3, Savaketh improves to 3 Magic attack while maintaining 3 Speed, 2 Armor, and 10 Health. At this stage, it unlocks another interesting ability called INVIGORATE.

INVIGORATE – Allied units cannot be exhausted.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

At Level 4, Savaketh reaches its maximum level with 4 Magic attack, 3 Speed, 3 Armor, and 10 Health. Although it does not gain another new ability at this stage, the increase in Magic attack and Armor makes this monster even more powerful and durable.

My Opinion About the Monster

First of all, Savaketh is a very useful monster because it combines a heavy Magic attack with an unusually large amount of Health. Although the card costs 9 mana, which is definitely on the expensive side, I think its statistics do a good job of explaining where that mana is going. Even at Level 1, it already has 2 Magic attack, 3 Speed, 1 Armor, and a massive 10 Health. As it reaches the higher levels, the Magic attack climbs to 4 and the Armor reaches 3, while the Health remains at 10. Then we have REDEMPTION, which is basically like a bomb attached to the monster. When Savaketh is finally defeated, it deals 1 physical damage to every enemy unit. This means that even when the opponent manages to take down this 9-mana monster, Savaketh still gets one final opportunity to damage the entire enemy lineup. Then, at Gold level, Savaketh unlocks INVIGORATE, which gives this monster an entirely different kind of value. The ability prevents allied units from becoming exhausted, meaning it can provide useful support to the entire lineup rather than simply focusing on its own attacks. Overall, I think Savaketh is a very powerful and unusual Legendary Reward monster. Its 9-mana cost is high, but the combination of 4 Magic attack at maximum level, 10 Health, 3 Armor, 3 Speed, Redemption, and Invigorate gives it plenty of value. For me, Savaketh feels like one of a kind monster that does attacks, supports the team, and even leaves a little parting gift for the enemy before leaving the battlefield.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post about Savaketh. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
