This post is going be a short review about The Stranger.

About the novel:
The Stranger is written by Albert Camus. The original language of the novel is French. It was published in 1942. It is also considered a short novel or a novella (less than 200 pages). The genre of the novel is Philosophical.

Review:
The novel is written in a way as the narrator is mostly speaking. It is written from his perspective. Given it's genre, the novel is talking about a man who grieving. His mother just died. That is the start of the novel. It shows the main character's feelings, thoughts and the way he perceives the world. Camus wrote this novel and shows the philosophical belief of Absurdism.

My take of the novel: I have heard a lot about this novel. I thought that I will be taking some notes here and there. Maybe, highlight some conversation. But, it turns out different than expected. But, I would not say less than expected. In general, I enjoyed reading it.

Resenha:
O livro é escrito de tal forma que o narrador conduz a maior parte da narrativa; a história é apresentada sob a perspectiva dele. Dado o seu gênero, a obra aborda a trajetória de um homem que está de luto — sua mãe acaba de falecer, fato que dá início à trama. O texto revela os sentimentos e pensamentos do protagonista, bem como a maneira como ele percebe o mundo. Por meio desta obra, Camus explora a corrente filosófica conhecida como "absurdismo".

Minha opinião sobre o livro: Eu já tinha ouvido falar bastante desta obra. Pensei que faria algumas anotações ao longo da leitura e talvez destacasse alguns diálogos, mas a experiência acabou sendo diferente do que eu esperava — o que não significa que tenha sido aquém das minhas expectativas. No geral, gostei bastante da leitura.
