Bitcoin transaction is now getting higher and higher. Now I'll share with you how I escaped it.
Lets go!
As you can see the screenshot above, its the wallet page on steemit.com. Simply click the drop-down icon on the 'STEEM DOLLARS' section and click 'Sell'( The process is also similar if you want to sell your steem.). After clicking 'Sell', you'll be directed to the blocktrades.us website as you can see the screenshot below (Of course this is for demo purposes only for those who haven't tried yet withdrawing on steemit.com).
As you can see, the dogecoin fee is only 0.002 SBD. I got my dogecoin address on coinpot.co and the conversion to bitcoin is 0.00000084 btc in 1 DOGE and there's no fee for conversion. (This was the rate when I was doing the screenshot.) See below.
At coinmarketcap.com 1 doge is equal to 0.00000088 btc, the time when I was doing the screenshot. See below.
When I withdraw from coinpot.co to my btc wallet address, there was no fee folks! If we subtract the value of doge in btc from coinmarketcap.com to coinpot.co, the difference is 0.00000004 btc. This is quite very small, compared to the transaction fee of bitcoin on average of $13-$20.
I actually received my worth of bitcoin 4 days after I requested a withdrawal. Its actually fine for me anyways. I'd rather wait than pay $13 or so in bitcoin transaction.
