When I saw this topic, the first thing that came to my mind was the fact if I should skip this? Well, no I can't. Let's keep the flow the way it is. Just like me, I know there are lots of people around who would as well shy away from this topic. Majorly because they acknowledge to themselves the fact that they haven't made that banging investment yet and probably hoping to do so. And with that, sadly, I can't really pin out a great investment I have made when it all dances around money and finance.
But if I am to say of other things I can say I planned for myself for future, which can as well be considered as an investment in some way, it is basically having to gain the knowledge I am gaining at the moment. Nop, not school. Even though in a great aspect of consideration, school, or education as you might best understand it, is as well part of the investment one can do in him or herself. Sadly, I don't count it as such largely due to it popularity and almost inevitability. I say this because almost every persons wants to study and graduate from college. It almost sounding like we are having no choice as time progresses.
But there is one investment of knowledge I have being trying to grab all to myself that I really wanna have as a degree or in my CV. No joke, as of now, my CV is very lame...... At least to me. I can't see anything special in it when I go through it. Is it the past jobs I have done, nahhhh... Or is it that desktop publishing knowledge I took a course for? Nahhh I am positive that looks so so lame! However, how about having to fill in my CV that I am a Programmer! Mannn... That would be game changing.
So yes, I can say the best investment I have been able to engage in so far in terms of knowledge and not finance now is me learning to code. And not just learning to code for coding sake. Hell no. But to be one of the rare best. Doesn't matter how many years it will take but I believe I can do it. Also, to set up a project unlike ever seen in our world today...... Another definition of thinking out of the box. I started this journey of coding two months back and damn! The more I learn, the more I really wanna learn more and more languages.
