While we were out shopping, I stopped to look at the magazine rack at the grocery. I had not taken a look in years. I could not find any comic books, but there was a coloring magazine, a puzzle and games mag and The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. There were no Gun Digest, Outdoor Living, or Popular Mechanics, but there was a Cooking Recipes ,Home Decorating and The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Nope, no Modern Drummer, Guitar Player, Billboard, or Psychology Today, but they had Seventeen, Us, and The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. No Hot Rod, or Motorcycles, but they had a magazine dedicated to making Christmas decorations from toilet paper tubes and plastic bottles, AND The Sports Illustrated ... It was then I noticed the girl on the Swimsuit Issue cover wasn't wearing a swimsuit. The poor girl had nothing on but a few strings. She must have gotten tangled up in them while fishing and had to strip to free herself. Suddenly I felt like I needed a trenchcoat and rubber galoshes. Standing next to me was a 12 year old boy that was having trouble deciding what magazine he wanted too. I wanted to investigate the Swimsuit Issue, but I wasn't going to pick it up in front of him. I suspected he was thinking the same. We both stood there waiting for the other to leave. Finally, my wife told me she was ready to go. The boy looked up at me and smiled, like Ha Ha, your Momma called. The little brat, I hope he doesn't go blind.
