We came up with a very successful recipe a couple nights a go. Usually when I start to cook, Candy orders pizza in defense. Oh yeah... Chuck Roast on sale for $2.77/lb at Food Lion. I bought several. We like to grind our own hamburger at that price. I had one 2 lb. roast that was about 3 inches thick. I pounded it with a meat hammer down by about half. While doing so, I was sprinkling in, cracked pepper corns, diced garlic and our fresh orange and lemon powder. I laid fresh rosemary sprigs on both sides, drizzled it with olive oil and a splash of soy sauce, and cooked on the Foreman grill until still pink in the center, about 20 minutes on low. The drippings were saved and basted back in as it cooked. Poor man's steak. We'll do pizza another night, maybe...
