Greetings Asean Hivers!
Last week my youngest turns four, we actually planned a swimming outing but since she's feeling under the weather a few days before her birthday so we decided to just celebrate at home. Her safety is always the priority.

As I look at this photo, I am reminiscing about my journey of giving birth to her. It was never easy though that is my second delivery. When she's seven months in my belly I experienced false labor and I was rushed to a maternity clinic then to a larger hospital to ensure that it is really a "false labor". Thankfully the contractions stop and my cervix is not dilated. I was advised not to travel or carry heavy things and to just stay at home and more bedrest.

It was dawn at March, I was about to go to the CR but as I stand up my amniotic fluid starts to leek. At first my partner thought maybe I peed at my undies but then it is too sticky to be a pee. We go to the nearest hospital to check if I am really giving birth. I was admitted there and the ob-gyn said that my case is "leaking bow". My amniotic fluid is leaking but my cervix is still close. They put a heartbeat monitoring apparatus in my belly while I had an IV where they are injecting some medicine to help me dilated easier to prevent "dry baby". I was like that for almost 22 hours, my only food is lemon square cheese cake and a bottle of water. I'm not allowed to stand up even if I need to pee, they gave me a bedpan.
I guess it's past 11pm when the ob-gyn said that I need to call my partner to sign a waiver just in case I will be needing an emergency c-section but thankfully before he came to the hospital my cervix dilated progressively. My ob-gyn said that "I have this gut feeling that you can do it mommy, we can do it." They transferred me to the delivery room at 12midnight, I was watching the clocking there ticking. Thankfully I gave birth at 12:45am to this chubby and lovely baby. I was crying in happiness when I heard her cry and they put her in my chest.
We named her Faven because she is a blessing to us, we may have been through a lot during my pregnancy and giving birth but she turns out to be a healthy and happy baby.

Time really flies so past, she's no longer a baby. She already know what she likes and dislike, she can tell us what she's feeling and most of all she knows that she's loved.

In this photo, she is sleepy but still want to take a family photo so when she grow up she can see how beautiful she is when she was younger. That's what she told so I said "okay, I will just carry you".

Her dream is to be an artist as in artista who makes commercials and movies, and also a vlogger who makes make up tutorial.

This dancing cactus is her most favorite gift that she receive from her cousins.

She have almost 20 kids in her party and she is so happy but I decided no to post it here since not all parents agreed. I'm thankful that they let their kids attend the party and also give her gifts.

Here are the foods:

My homemade bee theme cake and cupcakes, baked and decorated with love.

All these foods are cooked by yours truly and my mother-in-law except for the lechon belly. The decorations and balloons are also DIY. It's true that having this kind of event is really tiring if almost everything is DIY and homemade but I can say that this is really worth it. All the efforts and sweats are paid with genuine love packed with hugs and kisses from her.

Thanks for dropping by, see you on my next blog!
