Blend tool is a great tool for Adobe Illustrator. With it, you can create various shapes and the very satisfying color variation. With the help of three basic shapes (One circle and two Stars)and after blending you will get the second image. Then go to effects and apply bloat and pucker tool, zig-zag tool and the roughen tool to get these cool floral effects.
