They are old cumbersome dumb cameras capable of a level of image quality to die for. If you care about it that's it.
They are unforgiving and assume that you know what you are doing. But that's what I like. I do not appreciate modern cameras trying to do photographic thinking for me. I set my camera to manual and take control of my photography.
Incidentally that's the reason I do not like mobile phone photography. It's not the low image quality... it's the loss of immediacy and the feeling that the phone is taking decisions in my place.
Laura is a great model. You won't be able to see the difference between a MF image and a 35mm image and perhaps even a smaller device image on the web. But it is there and it matters to me
