Throughout my time in Cluj so far I have been doing my best to try all the top rated things in the country. Today we are going to get bread bowls with some kind of soup in it and I am very excited for that.

One thing that I have been keeping track of is trying the best beers in the country and so far I have been able to have 3/5 of the top five.

Here are the top 5 beers in the country according to this source:

Ursus

This one seems to be the most popular with a lot of bars and restaurants hanging their signs. I thought that it was pretty good, but was very similar to an American beer in terms of taste.

Timisorena

Apparently I had this but do not remember, thus I will assume it was insanely good.

Ciucas

This was a very grainy beer, I'm not so sure it was for me, but I could see how it could be a favorite of many.

Ground Zero

I have not tried this but the name is very promising.

Zaganu

These are the coolest looking bottles and I will be seeking to try it tonight.

I really love being able to travel and try things from different places that the people of that place love; beer and alcohol is one of the things that people love to share from their own nations. I have really enjoyed my time here and the food has been awesome. Time to get this bread bowl now.

The absolute best part about these beers though is that they are insanely cheap. Prices here seem to be about 1/3 of the cost in the United States on average and alcohol is seen as a part of most meals and thus is not priced astronomically high as we see in America. God I
