The City of Sciences and Arts Infrastructure
The architect of this miracle project was Santiago Calatrava. Construction began in 1996. The city of arts and sciences is built in a drained bed of the Turia River and consists of the following objects.
-Emisferik (L'Hemisfèric) - a spherical cinema with IMAX technology, 3D and digital projection.
- Museu de les Ciéncies Príncipe Felipe - an interactive museum of science and technology.
- Oceanographic (Oceanogràfic) - the largest in Europe aquarium.
- Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía - Palace of Arts, consisting of 4 stages, for conducting opera, ballet, concerts, conferences, etc.
- Agora - a multifunctional building where you can hold exhibitions, conferences, concerts, sports and entertainment.
- L'Umbracle - a futuristic greenhouse that serves as a botanical garden and art gallery.
