Hello Hivers! My name is Marlon and I direct an artistic project dedicated to the RMDanza movement and body. Dance connected me with my body and yoga with my soul.
Something that dance has made very clear to me is that it is much more than simply moving, it is also a means of rediscovering who we are. When a dancer expresses himself with the body he enters a state of meditation, he reconnects the body with the mind and the soul dances. The athletes also feel it and I am sure that you also at some point, only you have not paid attention.
We all have the ability to experience this body / mind connection, to observe children, they are much more connected and that is because they are not full of concepts, or juices, everything is new to them. So if we clear the mind of all possible judgments, attachments and aversions, we could learn to meditate.
To count the benefits of meditation and yoga for personal life, including life on the planet, the possibility of making many other messages (and I will), so well there is enough to share in the next messages ... what I came!
This time I bring you a thousand-year-old exercise that the Buddha himself left on this planet. This exercise changed my life completely, with practice I was taking weight from life and I mean all the responsibility that we throw ourselves on, all that that causes us frustration, all that we want but we cannot have or always have thoughts in the past or in the future. As I was cleaning my mind everything began to change and for the better.
To become enlightened, the Buddha chose the truest thing that exists and also the most present. Breathing and he began to observe it and go all he learned from himself, he lit up.
The technique is called Vipasana, to fully learn it you must attend a 10-day course (retreat), they are completely free and are taught in almost every country in the world. I can teach you how to attend one.
Today I share Anapana the previous and preparatory exercise for Vipasana. It's very simple; First I recommend preparing a little before sitting down, take this as a personal ritual, a sacred space in your life, a refuge of liberation, I mean give the most beautiful intention to this. Find a place where they feel comfortable to sit, it can be on some cushions on the floor (preferably) or in a comfortable chair without armrests.
When you sit down, close your eyes and take 3 very deep breaths very slowly. You should feel as full as you breathe in and empty as possible as you breathe out. Observe the entire course of breathing and pay attention to what is happening in your body. At first I kept a practice diary where I wrote down all these observations, such as: the air temperature, the moving body parts, whether or not there are interruptions when inhaling or exhaling, how I feel with my lungs full or empty , etc.

Try to feel the area under your nostrils, above your upper lip. Observe the sensations you have in that small place. (3 min)
Feel the air brush against the inner walls of the nose. 3 (min)
Try to feel the air going in and out through your right nostril. (1.5min)
try to perceive the air entering and leaving your left nostril (1.5 min)
7.Receive the air through both nostrils and gradually begin to breathe deeply to come out of meditation.
As you can see it is super simple and the benefits are immediate, they will feel great. You can increase the time in each part and thus reach deeper states of meditation, but it is better to go calmly.
