Splinterlands- Thessok Hunter: A formidable hunter that targets the strongest enemy.

Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well. Today, I am back with another Splinterlands card name Thessok Hunter. I am sharing some thoughts on another fire splinter card. It is a common card belonging to the saurian bloodline. With a mana cost of 7 the card's main highlights are its powerful melee attack and an ability that targets the enemy unit with the highest power. Consequently, it can play a crucial role in the right battle.

Card Overview.

It possesses the apex strike ability starting at level 1. This ability targets the enemy unit with the highest power. At level 3, it gains piercing this means that if the attack exceeds the enemy's armor the excess damage is dealt directly to their health. At its maximum level it can reach 4 melee attack, 5 speed and 8 health. The addition of ambush and bloodline pact abilities later on makes it even more potent.

Battle Strategy.

In my opinion, this card is well suited for the frontline. Apex strike is particularly effective for quickly targeting a high attack enemy unit. With piercing it can deal significant damage even against heavily armored foes. The ambush ability creates an opportunity to attack before the battle officially begins. Therefore, with the right team composition it is possible to exert pressure on a key enemy unit right from the start.

My Opinion.

For me, the most appealing aspect of this card is its targeting ability. Instead of a standard attack targeting the enemy unit with the highest power can provide a distinct advantage in many battles. Given its mana cost of 7 one needs to consider the mana cap and the overall lineup before using it. However, the combination of strong melee attack, speed and piercing allows it to serve effectively as an aggressive frontline unit.
