I was never much of a "shopper", only when there is an upcoming event or festival, I'd then make the time and put in the effort to go shopping. Other than that I was always okay with what I have. Yes, when my current stock of clothes starts to deteriorate or shrink, then a little shopping spree becomes necessary, but even those shopping sprees of mine were never really too flamboyant.
I like to keep it simple, I like to keep it affordable, you really don't have to put a hole in your pockets to maintain a classic look. Even if you can afford to splurge your hard earned money on fancy brands and clothes, I say you shouldn't, unless it's something that you really want and have been eyeing it for quite a while.

My country Bangladesh is the second largest exporter of garments in the world, so the options that are available to us are all top notch, offered for a fairly cheaper price too. I have clothes that I've bought years ago and are still in great condition, most of them starting from a range as low as $2 dollars, to a highest of $50, and to be honest, if you time you purchases well, then you can secure a whole bunch of clothes and full outfits for about $20 to $50.
The best sales and discounts are always on during winter, from December to February, these 3 months are what I usually wait for. Starting from 30% to 70%, every single shop in the country offers flat sales to clear up their stock. This time of the year is the best chance for everyone to stock up on some nice clothes for cheap. So, that's why I'm always on the look out for such big sales.
But it's actually been about 7 years or so that I've stopped visiting clothing stores, I find the convenience of online shopping to be way more suitable for me. Yes, there are "risks" when shipping online, like you can't really check the products properly and all, but if you purchase from trusted sources, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I've been shopping online since 2015, and so far I've never really faced much of an issue.
It's just so much easier to scour a certain shop online, you can go through the whole stock much faster and just according to your preferences too.
My most recent "win" was with the watch you see above, this is a Casio Enticer, the entry level lineup from Casio. I say you can never go wrong with a Casio, whether it's the entry level Enticer or a top of the line G-Shock. This exact model is priced around $50 to over $60 dollars over here, but I managed to get mine for under $40, now is that a win or what? It's a solid watch for every day use, it looks good, the build quality is solid, and the way I treat my accessories and clothes, this thing should serve me well for half a decade at least.
Eid is also just about 2 weeks away, and I'm planning to get a good panjabi and pajama set. The last time I've bought a panjabi for Eid was back in 2016 I guess, so it's about time I "treat myself" with a good panjabi.
And I guess then it'll be a wrap for my little "shopping season" this year. Let's wait and see what 2024 has in store for us.
