In this post I will share an experience and my success in recapitulating my journey from Bireuen city to Aceh Tengah, which I managed to capture on this trip is not only about the natural scenery but also about the natural disasters that have changed everything, a lot of road access was cut off and we even had to take an alternative route that passed through villages that I had never been to. When entering Bener Meriah regency, we will be able to find many areas of the road that were damaged by floods and landslides, even the Tajuk enang-enang bend was completely impassable, so we were forced to have an alternative route.
One of the alternative routes that can be taken is in Wih Porak village, Pintu Rime Gayo District, so the trip will take a little longer than usual, there is nothing special because when we take this alternative route, we will also pass through various obstacles, especially when we cross a river that is very large (due to flooding).
The road conditions are very damaged, but the worst thing is that we have to be prepared to pass through downhill roads and extreme climbs, there are many riders who fell when passing through this route, especially two-wheeled vehicles, luckily the weather when I passed through this area was quite supportive, namely not too hot and not cloudy.
What really amazed me was that when I passed this route, I managed to find lots of people helping to smooth the traffic jam, and security officers were always ready there.
After traveling for about an hour, I managed to find another broken bridge again,if I'm not mistaken, this bridge is called Bailey Umah Besi and is still in Bener Meriah Regency. What you see is a new bridge and route, and the old bridge has collapsed and can no longer be used.
As far as I remember, this river used to not be very big and the bridge was not very long, but look now how big this river is,and what is even more surprising is that there are lots of large rocks that come from who knows where.
Of course, this is a very worrying sight, how terrible the natural disaster is which has changed everything and brought many losses to the affected communities, but we must remember that this is not the end but the beginning of all changes for the better.
And in this place I managed to find a miracle that happened intentionally, namely the success of local residents in transforming this place full of destruction into a place full of jokes and laughter.
"Nature has indeed destroyed everything, but humans have never run out of ideas to utilize what is there and what is left" these are the words that were implied in my heart when I saw this extraordinary view.
There are several reasons why I dare to call this an unexpected new tourist destination,we can see that there are lots of visitors who come here and are busy with their respective activities,, there are lots of small children who are also happily swimming in the river, and there are several food stalls and street food stalls that visitors can use to buy their equipment and supplies.
