I was recently invited to review a newly opened restaurant named The Olive. I visited the place on a Saturday evening with my best friend Mrinal. I wasn't expecting much from the place as I didn't even know it existed until the previous day when they sent me an invite. But when I got there, the beauty of the place swept me off my feet.

Oh, how beautifully it was lit up. The outdoor seating had my heart. They have fort-like turrets inside which they had tables set up. They also have private cottage seating.

Here's a glimpse into the exquisite ambiance of the restaurant -

Well, it wasn't just the ambiance. The food here was delectable too. We had a good filling meal and every part of it was delicious.
Here's everything we had -

Since we got there too early for dinner, we started off with Cappuccinos.

When it was dinner time and we were starving, we started with a classic chicken starter - Aamis Jojo Kebab. This was priced at INR 369 (4.96 USD).

Next, we had Dragon Chicken. It was a little extra salty but otherwise tasted fine. It was priced at INR 359 (4.82 USD).

For the main course, we had the Madurai special 'Bun Parotta' along with 'Olive Special Murgh Two-Type Gravy'. This combo was beautiful. The spices blended in the gravy just went perfectly with the soft porottas. This is one heavenly engagement.
The bun porotta was priced at INR 30 (0.4 USD) and the gravy dish was INR 345 (4.64 USD).

We also had the Olive Special Chicken Tawa Fry. This was a decent dish.

One of the highlights of the evening was the Passion Fruit Mojito. This was refreshing and tasted sweet and flavourful too. It was fun to drink off it together with my friend. xD
It was priced at INR 145 (1.95 USD).

And the final dish we had was the Kenz Ilaneer Dessert for dessert. It is a Kerala special tender coconut pudding and it tasted divine. What a great end to the spread.
This was priced at INR 160 (2.15 USD).
