It started like ordinary malaria, chills, weakness, fatigue. But soon, a cough followed, then blood. Fear crept in. I couldn’t afford a hospital, so I went to a chemist. The drugs did nothing. Rumors said tuberculosis, but I refused to accept it.

At that time, my brother Abel and I had just launched our robotics startup. We trained students in schools and built smart home devices. Our sessions were full, parents supportive, and things were going well. But sickness stopped me in my tracks.

Eventually, I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis- a chronic lung condition that left me coughing blood, exhausted, and helpless. No treatment worked. I had to stop working. Our staff was laid off, sessions canceled, and our business slowed to a halt. Abel, still a student, couldn’t carry everything alone. Even transporting training kits became impossible.

Desperate, I went back to the hospital and followed the prescriptions. Progress was slow until Abel invited a pastor to pray. For seven days, he came. By the third, the blood stopped. By the seventh, I was healed. I could walk again, laugh again. I was free.

We’re still rebuilding the business. The loss was great. But I’ve learned the power of faith and resilience.
