We need to be compassionate, caring and loving for us to correct teens who are passing through depression. The Bible shows that God cares deeply about the brokenhearted and invites them to draw near to Him in their pain. Teens who feel overwhelmed should be encouraged to express their struggles honestly, knowing that God is not distant but attentive to their cries. Support from parents, mentors, and the faith community also reflects God’s love, helping teens feel valued and not alone in their battles.
Scripture reminds us that hope can still be found even in dark moments. God’s Word offers comfort and reassurance that He remains present through every trial, giving strength to endure and overcome.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).
By guiding teens to trust in God, pray, and stay connected to caring people, they can gradually find healing, purpose, and renewed strength.
