Leaving a basement with Calvin, I found a note about floodgate fuses before heading out onto a body-strewn street. Unable to enter a radio shop, I explored a creepy apartment complex. After finding a letter on a locked safe, I jumped through a hole in the floor into a blood-stained room.
Right after stepping out of the special room, Calvin and I found ourselves deep in the basement of the building, surrounded by pitch darkness once again. Calvin seemed on edge, carefully scanning the shadows as if he could sense something strange lurking nearby.
Exploring the immediate area, I picked up a piece of evidence, which turned out to be a handwritten note from someone named Elgar addressed to Harry, the gatekeeper.
The letter mentioned renewable fuses needed for the floodgate panel and instructed him to head across the street to her shop to grab the spares.
We made our way up to the street level, where the floodwaters weren't as deep, though the view was grim. Dead bodies were scattered all over the pavement, making it clear that something terrible had happened here and these people hadn't died of natural causes.
I paused to take in the ruined state of the city before trying the door to a nearby radio store, but it was locked tight, blocking me from searching inside for useful supplies.
Moving further down the block, I spotted a half-open door leading into an apartment building right next to the radio station and decided to head inside.
As we began climbing the stairs, Calvin started calling out for survivors, holding onto hope that someone might still be alive in the complex.
Eerie music swelled in the background as we explored the silent hallways, and every time a door randomly slammed shut on its own, it gave me a real jump scare.
Inside one of the units, I came across a heavy safe with another piece of evidence resting on top of it. It was a letter to a guy named Martin from his dad, highlighting that the numbers would come easy if he remembered his dad's proudest, most miraculous moment.
Recognizing it as a clue for the safe combination, I searched the surrounding rooms for any dates or numbers, but turned up empty-handed.
Giving up on the safe for the moment, I left the unit and moved into the adjacent apartment, which was labeled as number six. Stepping inside, the first thing I noticed was a creepy doll sitting upright inside a bassinet near the entry.
The rest of the place was completely trashed, especially the kitchen, looking as if the occupants had packed up and fled in a massive hurry.
Tucked in the corner of the kitchen floor was a jagged hole leading down to the lower level. I cautiously dropped through the opening, landing in a dark room below where fresh bloodstains were smeared across the floor.
That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.
