I thoroughly tested the full combat capabilities and attack sequences of the Leviathan Axe with Kratos. I experimented with basic light slashes, downward wood-chopping strikes, and heavy combo strings using different mouse inputs.
I decided it was time to showcase the full action potential of my Leviathan Axe and test every combat move available.
I wanted to observe how Kratos handled the heavy weapon in real time. When I pressed the left mouse button while wielding the axe, Kratos executed a clean forward slash.
When I pressed the left mouse button for the third time, Kratos performed a frontal downward slash, driving the heavy edge straight down just like someone chopping wood.
Executing the fourth left button action delivered the most fatal strike of that initial sequence. After that, I tested the right mouse button to see what heavy attacks were available.
A series of three presses produced far more fatal strikes. On the first press, Kratos swung the axe upward from a lower stance. With the second press, he reversed his momentum and brought the blade down from above.
The third press took a huge amount of physical strength from Kratos, resulting in a slow but brutal finish.
