During a fierce battle, Kratos unleashed his fiery Spartan Rage to overpower a massive wild bear. Upon defeating the creature, it suddenly transformed back into Atreus, revealing the boy had unknowingly shapeshifted. Shaken by the near-fatal encounter, Kratos convinced Atreus to return home to master his unpredictable abilities.
Facing off against the giant wild bear, I attempted an initial strike, but the beast easily swatted Kratos backward with a single powerful push. Recovering quickly, I charged straight back into the fray to resume my assault.
As I unleashed a barrage of attacks with everything I had, the bear retaliated with a sudden counter-strike, pinned Kratos to the ground and sinking its massive teeth directly into his neck.
Trapped beneath the creature's weight, Kratos's adrenaline triggered an automatic surge of Spartan Rage. Breaking free from the bear's grip, I immediately began pounding the beast with a furious flurry of heavy blows.
Even as the beast growled, nothing could halt Kratos's relentless Spartan Rage. Flames erupted from his fists with every punch, reducing the once-intimidating bear to a helpless target under the Kratos's heavy fists.
Once the Spartan Rage meter depleted, I fell back to reset my position. Staying alert to the bear's aggressive charging patterns, I carefully dodged its lunges while maintaining a safe distance.
Mastering the timing of each dodge, I continually retaliated with precise counter-attacks, slowly wearing the monster down until I completely overpowered it on the snowy ground.
Just as I prepared to finish the fight, magical energy began swirling around the dying creature. Kratos stepped back in shock as the giant bear dissolved, transforming directly into his son, Atreus.
Confused and disoriented, Atreus recalled seeing a bear in the woods before losing control, completely unaware of his shapeshifting. Kratos stood visibly shaken, horrified by how close he had come to killing his own child.
Kratos explained that they still don't understand the true extent or danger of Atreus's growing abilities, he then suggested that they needed to return home immediately so the boy could learn to control them.
Despite Atreus initially arguing back against the decision, Kratos held his ground and convinced him of the danger. Falling silent, the kid fell in line as father and son decided the walk back to their home.
That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.
