Buddhist and Taoist Temples in China tend to be rather ornate places. Sansheng is no different in that regard. The difference, sometimes, is when you see the statues either in the process of being erected

Changzhou has plenty of Buddhist Temples, and Sansheng is at the extreme far edge of town. A bus does come out here, but they are just a handful per day. There really is a lot to see here, and the following

Nanchan Temple itself is rather small. However, the commercial shopping area around it is sprawling. At night, it's lit up and a different walking experience than in the day time.
