It's been nearly 10 years since I last shot motorsport, and that was touring cars... I'm a better photographer than I was 10 years ago (I hope!!) But bloody hell this was hard, but incredibly enjoyable.

No work this week as I'm inbetween job roles and I needed a good bit of time to re-charge and chill out. So the camera is getting a bit of a hammering but with stuff that I don't shoot that often.. So a day out at Cadwell Park ciruit with bbphotography@bbphotography was in order.

Now I appreciate that these may be a bit samey, but I only went to 2 locations as the day was as much as a social as it was a photography challenge!!

My panning skills need some improvement that is for sure.... That's a skill in itself, and given the fact that I shake like a shitting dog at times, its a fine line between keeping the shutter open enough for the movement blur and getting everything blurry.... resulting in an image in the recycle bin!!

I took 2100 images yesterday, speedshooting on the r6 is pretty rapid... After a late night of weeding the wheat from the chaff I've given myself nearly 200 images I'll look to work with.cadwell_may22_4x0a2740_edit_edit_edit.jpg

As for the people (idiots) that ride these things, I'm not sure wether to think theyre absolute nutters, or very clever people holding it together on there... maybe a mixture of the both.

One things for sure, you wont see me on one anytime soon...... no thank you..
