London's iconic Tower Bridge was built between 1886 and 1894 and crosses the River Thames very near to City Hall with the Tower of London on the opposite bank.
I timed my visit to co-inside with it opening and the “blue hour” by using the Tower Bridge website. In this case it was 10pm on the 20th July 2016. Sunset was about an hour earlier, so just about made it inside blue hour. A little later and the sky turns a yucky brown from light pollution.
If you are wishing to visit during an opening of the bridge, you can find the details in the following link. https://www.towerbridge.org.uk/lift-times/
