It was a good year on Steemit, but it has been a difficult summer. We had to travel (is that what they call a lenticular cloud over on the horizon? This was over Tunisia, and the next day, in Istanbul, there was the second of those big hailstorms. But not the part of Istanbul we were in...).
As I say we had to travel, so I signed up for a virtual Wirex card and bought the tickets and the visas with some of the rewards for by poems. Incredible, thanks guys.
This is me back in Rabat, taken a few days ago. The questions about the next job remain, the usual situation for a travelling English teacher, but this year is different, because my STEEM and the rest of my portfolio (ouch, what a uncomfortable word to write!) are giving us some sense of security. I ordered a physical Wirex card and stuck it in an ATM and withdrew enough for this month's rent. More poems, thanks guys!
So this is me, staring off into the dusk, taking a break from wondering exactly what to do next, with work and with Steemit. I have been powering-down, for security mainly, it turns out, and in two or three weeks my SP will be pretty low. I thought today that I might let this continue, but then once we get settled to buy back in. How does that sound?
