Since I started posting on Steem I wanted to be uploading something every other day. And for a few posts I was able to do this, because those were things I had stored in my mind knowing I would be posting them soon.
And it’s not like I just simply ran out of ideas or something, it’s just that I don’t feel like I’m quite ready to post certain things. I want every one of my posts to be honest. I feel like that’s something that is a cornerstone of this community.
Integrity in your work should be forefront, and original content is always so much better than copying and pasting something you found on the internet.
I found that I was debating with myself over when/what to post every day, and I ended up not even posting for a few days. But now I feel like I’m ready to post something I’d been trying to brainstorm.
I said in my introduction that I have dealt with a lot of mental health struggles all my life.
I’d like to write about that.
What I don't want nor do I expect sympathy or condolences for a single thing; what happened is in the past and I’ve moved forward. But I also think it’s important to see an example of, at least what I consider to be, an extreme.
What I do want is to engage this community in a discussion about mental health and how easy it is for an outsider to manipulate a distressed teen, for better or for worse.
I hope you’ll follow each post as I’ll be breaking it into segments based upon topic.
Thanks for reading and for sticking with me.
