The photos 馃摳 are my entry to the #monomad contest from monochromes@monochromes and brumest@brumest.

Greetings friends of the black and white community.

The faces of a city say more than its streets. In them lives the real pulse, what does not appear in the postcards. They are a reflection of what is carried and what is dreamed, of what is expected and also of what has been lost. Every look, every gesture, every line on the skin is a different way of belonging.

Photographing people without asking them for anything is a way of listening without interrupting. It is to let the city speak for itself, with its unique, authentic expressions, sometimes soft and sometimes raw, but always real.

I hope you like them. I read them.
