Or, you want to participate in the competition and become a champion. Or, you want to learn martial arts only for self-defense. Your why is the driving force of learning martial arts. It will motivate you to keep learning.
If you want to learn martial arts to be a champion, you should choose martial arts that focus on sports. On the other hand, if you want to learn martial arts for self defense, you should choose martial arts that are practical and make you ready to defend yourself in a fight outside of the fighting competition.
The reasons for learning martial arts are very important and it will determine your next step. Now if you have patience, dedication and want to give your best effort to learn martial arts, nothing can hold you back.

It is for everyone. Girls and women can learn martial arts and it has a huge impact on the lifestyle. When you have confidence and you know what to do if you face any unfavorable situations, you will find a new version of YOU. What a girl or woman can do with martial arts, that's incredible.
You can go and check out the history of Wing Chun. Wing Chun is one of the most popular martial arts for self defense. We all know about Bruce Lee. He learned Wing Chun at the beginning. To learn martial arts, you have to be focussed. As Bruce Lee said,
