The potted plants in the backyard are coming on nicely, and despite the challenge of the cold nights into very late May I do have fruit appearing on both the tomatoes and strawberries, and everything is looking pretty lush which is pleasing!
Tomatoes
These have come a long way in the last two weeks, now looking like proper toms... got a nice sun trap position against the concrete garage wall at the back of my gaden!
First fruit...
You can just about see the first trusses setting, so I've just started feeding them!

Fruit is coming along nicely, I will probably net these soon give the local curious pigeons, damn them!
And from a distance
They look so healthy, glad I put them in large trays, felt too large initially, but three to one of these has worked well!
And my two chile plants
I have since potted them both on, two different varieties, looking OK!
Overall a resounding success so far...
I think it's because my garden is a sun trap so it's nice a warm and easy to keep them watered, I just wish I'd gone a bit harder and planted more!
