Life is a strange place, no? We will never know what will happen next to us. No matter how good planner we are!
It's not very uncommon to think people will come forward to support us and we will find their helping hands when we need it. But until life shows us the ugly faces, we never learn it.
I also learned it in a very hard way!
I used to think, my friends, family, relatives will be there to help me. But you know, you shouldn't blindly depends on this thought. I'm not saying, they are gonna betray us or will not help us at all. But you have to learn to help yourself first. The other things are like a good motivation or a wheel in your journey. But you have to learn to stand alone.
It's not like that I was always this strong person. I had lots of fear and never was able for so many things like what I do now. But I learned it. Or I should say, my life helped me to learn it gradually. I lost my father in a very early age, I was shocked beyond you can imagine, my world was full of darkness. I didn't get enough support from my surroundings as I suppose I will. Yeah, people was there to help me. But you know, the warmness was not there. But, does that mean I loose? I fight back everything, I became emotionally so strong that I don't need anyone beside me now.
I don't know if it sounds like I'm overstating things but I really feel this strong emotions in myself. And that's why I believe when you have to stand alone, do it. Don't wait, seek or want anyone to help you or stand foe you. Life is a journey which you have to go solo. No other human can run your race.
Have the courage to stand alone!
