Back in October 1st, 2017, Cardano appeared on the market with a market cap of $600 million.
That's pretty impressive and a lot of people have had there eye on Cardano ever since it appeared.
Cardano says that Bitcoin is too slow and that Ethereum is better than Bitcoin but it isn't scalable.
Cardano claims that it is not only faster than Bitcoin and Ethereum, but it is scalable as well.
This is due to it's Ouroboros proof-of-stake technology.
What is Ouroboros proof-of-stake technology?
"It's written in Haskell, a programming language that's typically used in critical systems in the banking and defense industries. It provides interoperability between existing cryptocurrencies. And finally, it offers long-term sustainability, by using a sort of cryptocoin treasury that can fund projects long-term."
Cryptomiso, a site that ranks cryptocurrencies according to Github commits, says that Cardano is the 2nd most active cryptocurrency out there.
Cardano looks like it has a very promising future ahead of it.
