17 days ago, I wrote this post saying that 6 Common Rewards cards will be going out of print very soon! And 2 days ago, they have indeed gone out of print!
As you probably already know, there was a huge spike in the prices yesterday (even more than what I expected), but prices have since come down and stabilised. With FOMO fading away, let's see how much the prices have moved versus 17 days ago!
First, REGULAR CARDS!

Have also collated the figures into a table for an easy comparison. For the price, I have chosen the "Low Buy per BCX" because I think it's more reflective than the individual 1 BCX card (but feel free to use whichever is more relevant for your purpose).
Would you have expected that the prices of Common cards could jump 80-180% within 2 weeks? I certainly wasn't expecting this because they were trading at USD 0.01 for the longest time and it seemed that nobody wanted them. (If I had taken the screenshots of the prices yesterday, it would have been much higher % change.)
Fortunately, I have accumulated and kept many copies of them. So I guess that's a pleasant surprise. Now let's see how do the Gold Foils fare!

Once again, similar gains of about 69-131% were observed, which was very impressive!
Seems like Pelacor Conjurer is the most well-liked among the 6.
Initially I thought this would have been a good warm up exercise to predict what would happen when the next batch of Reward cards run out. But it seems like the Splinterlands team have other plans and are planning to revamp the Reward cards system so I guess the exercise is moot. In the meantime, I hope you have kept these "used-to-be-worthless" cards (I always sigh a little when I see them from coming out of the Reward chests hahaha) and hopefully made a little fortune in this round. And perhaps, let's revisit their prices sometime later this year!
