(ENG/ESP) Fanart of Chibi Icarus – Lords Mobile /Fanart de Chibi Icaro – Lords Mobile.
El Evento 37 del Territorio de Creadores de Lords Mobile está en progreso. Para esta ocasión, quería hacer algo relacionado a Ícaro, quien es uno de nuestros héroes favoritos.
Tomé como inspiración para la ilustración, la línea de diálogo que dice al momento de ser derrotado.
Cada héroe dice una frase en particular. En el caso de Ícaro, hace referencia al Ícaro de la mitología. Con algo de sarcasmo deja entrever la razón de su caída.
Al inicio, pensé hacer una escena de su derrota en el Coliseo, donde se enfrentan los héroes de todos los jugadores del reino y van ganando posiciones.
Luego, le di una vuelta a la idea: un inocente Ícaro, rostizado por haberse acercado mucho al sol (¡o jugar con fuego! Recordemos que tenemos una heroína cuyo poder principal es el fuego).
Hice un par de bocetos previos para probar poses y expresiones, hasta que di con la que me gustó para él. Quería que la situación quedara lo más caricaturizada posible, así que opté por hacer el fuego y el humo muy básico para que no hubiera contraste entre su versión chibi y algo más renderizado.
¡Y así quedó!
Ícaro es uno de mis héroes favoritos por su diseño y por su personalidad. Me encanta lo frío e indiferente que puede parecer y el humor sarcástico que tiene. Se podría decir que nunca se sabrá con qué saldrá al enfrentarse a alguna situación.

Lords Mobile Creator Turf Event 37 is in progress. For this occasion, I wanted to do something related to Icarus, who is one of our favorite heroes.
I took as inspiration for the illustration, the line of dialogue that he says when he is defeated.
Each hero says a particular phrase. In the case of Icarus, it refers to the Icarus of mythology. With some sarcasm he reveals the reason for his fall.
At the beginning, I thought to make a scene of his defeat in the Colosseum, where the heroes of all the players in the kingdom face each other and gain positions.
Then I gave the idea a spin: an innocent Icarus, roasted from getting too close to the sun (or playing with fire! Remember we have a heroine whose main power is fire).
I did a couple of preliminary sketches to test poses and expressions, until I found the one I liked for him. I wanted the situation to be as cartoonish as possible, so I opted to make the fire and smoke very basic so that there was no contrast between its chibi version and something more rendered.
And that's how it stayed!
Icarus is one of my favorite heroes because of his design and his personality. I love how cold and uncaring he can seem and the sarcastic humor he has. It could be said that you will never know what you will come up with when facing a situation.
