(ENG/ESP) Fanart of Baby Icarus – Lords Mobile /Fanart de Icaro Bebé – Lords Mobile.
Para uno de los primeros eventos del Territorio de Creadores de Lords Mobile en el que participé, quise hacer algo diferente con los héroes, así que trabajé una versión de Ícaro bebé.
Usé una de las frases que dice en el juego, aunque adaptándola un poco. Él dice “¿por qué existo?”.
No sé realmente a qué se refiere con esto. Podría deberse a que, según la historia, Ícaro fue separado de su gente y siempre está anhelando reunirse con ellos.
Por otra parte, podría ser debido al sentimiento de culpa que tiene desde que, debido a ese deseo de reencontrarse con su gente, la vida de su amiga (y sabemos que amada) Coral, estuvo en riesgo y como consecuencia, ella se encuentra separada de su gente también.
Ya que en esta versión Ícaro es un bebé, quise que su pregunta estuviera enfocada a toda su gente, ya que cuando los bebés empiezan a explorar el mundo son muy curiosos.
Coloqué sus alitas extendidas, ya que en su diseño original son muy largas y pensé que sentado directamente en el suelo sería muy incómodo tenerlas en esa posición.
Me enfoqué en que su rostro y gestos mostraran la curiosidad y angustia por entender algo tan profundo como el saber la razón de su existencia, una pregunta a la que ni siquiera los adultos encontramos una respuesta concreta a través de la vida. Le puse mayor énfasis en sus ojos para que fuese lo primero que llamara la atención. Me encantan sus ojos. Tiene una mirada muy interesante, tanto cuando está sonriendo como cuando está en actitud de batalla. Creo que, de todos los héroes, me encanta su mirada y la de Kassim.
Conservé toda la paleta de colores de su diseño original y tracé el lineart con G-Pen para que fuese una línea bastante robusta que le diera un toque de estilo anime.

For one of the early events of the Lords Mobile Creator's Turf that I participated in, I wanted to do something different with the heroes, so I worked on a baby Icarus version.
I used one of the phrases he says in the game, although I adapted it a little. He says, 'Why do I exist?'
I'm not really sure what he means by this. It could be because, according to the story, Icarus was separated from his people and he's always longing to be reunited with them.
On the other hand, it could be due to the guilt he feels since, because of his desire to be with his people again, the life of his friend (and we know that she is loved) Coral was at risk, and as a consequence, she is also separated from her people.
Since in this version Icarus is a baby, I wanted his question to be focused on his entire people, as babies are very curious when they start exploring the world.
I positioned his wings extended, as in his original design they are very long, and I thought that sitting directly on the ground would be very uncomfortable to have them in that position.
I focused on making his face and expressions show curiosity and anguish to understand something as deep as knowing the reason for his existence, a question that even adults don't find a concrete answer to throughout life. I placed more emphasis on his eyes so that they would be the first thing to catch attention. I love his eyes. He has a very interesting gaze, both when he's smiling and when he's in a battle stance. I think, out of all the heroes, I love his gaze and Kassim's.
I kept the entire color palette of his original design and drew the lineart with a G-Pen to make it a quite robust line that would give it an anime-style touch.
