Last weekend, I watched Upstart Production's second run of Monty Python's Spamalot! Musical. The musical was an adaptation of the classic comedy film Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail and features quite a few lines of dialogue and songs from the movie and other classic Python sketches.
It's a great musical comedy with jokes flying fast and hard all throughout the show. You'll hear classic bits and songs such as the French Taunting, The Black Knight Duel, "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" and more! Ni!
There are only 5 more shows, I believe, so if you're in the BGC area or Manila, make it a point to get tickets for their Friday (8pm), Saturday (3pm and 8pm) and Sunday (3pm and 8pm) shows. The play is staged at the Globe Auditorium, Maybank Building, at the BGC Arts Center. Search Upstart Productions on Facebook for details.
