It is almost summer here. The weather is between 25-10 degree Celsius. I thought it was the perfect time to go on a road trip. I always prefer going on a long road trip during Mach and April, especially the first week of March on my bike, as it’s neither too hot nor too cold.
For me, road travel is exciting. And yesterday, there was one such journey that I enjoyed. It is always great to travel on the road amidst natural beauty, and having quality time on a road trip is all about getting away from the gadgets and reminiscing about the good old times.
If you are taking a road trip with your family and friends, that’s different, but for me, a memorable trip is when I do it on my own. I prefer to travel alone because it is fun for me.
In the morning, I left for the Jain temple. This temple is about 10 km from the city on the main highway. This is the second of the three temples that I visited that day.
I saw a few temples on the way, and after that, I turned towards the city for food. I entered a small restaurant and inquired about the route of its owner.
Let me mention here that yesterday was a popular festival that brings a large number of people from surrounding areas, so I especially went after the morning worship time, when the crowd had already receded.
The temple had several chambers in which they kept various idols of gods.
The entrances to these halls is entirely in a row. I could see the Shivaling in the main temple. But not being a religious person, I did not enter the temple but watched everything from a distance.
After some time, and after visiting some other heritage sites, I finally traveled to this place. This is the main place where worship is done. This temple is on top of a hill. But again, I saw it from a distant place and came back.
Seeing these buildings, I felt a wonderful peace in my mind. I repeat, I am not a religious person but traveled here for a bike ride, that’s all.
