There are some who had or have their trick or treat kind of parties. But in our family, we this is the day or part of the year where we are visiting our departed love ones. We offer them prayers, candles and flowers. Although any time of the year one can visit a cemetery, it is a special day for them to be visited. In Filipino, it is Araw ng mga Patay.
I actually do like the crowd, the spirit and the many things you can see around cemeteries on this occasion. Such as various food vendors and gimmicks. Most of all the holiday.
There are various horror theme shows on television as well and old horror movies time of the year. Not a boring day overall.
