Look I have been very charitable to you. I have way more knowledge about you in the area and am being kind to you, trying to walk you through your failures in logic. And I'm also giving you the benefit of the doubt due to English not being your primary language. Your appeal to authority is worthless you obviously can't discern growth from safety. They're not the same thing. You've been disrespecting me this whole time. You claim to call out circle jerking communities but you are taking part in one. You keep putting words in my mouth and falsely framing my position. I have told you before that I am not against downvoting. I am more skilled than you in the field, have more time on chain, have a greater handle on the English language and I have not used these as ways to undermine you. Your appeal to authority is deeply flawed and you trying to smear me and act like you can hand wave away which you cannot refute is very telling and emblematic of the embarrassing nature of the cult you belong to. Do you really think I dont understand these things? I might be a tad hyperbolic and could simmer down but that is just me responding to the way you are responding to me. If you extended more good faith to me, it would be reciprocated. I am not going to tolerate your pathetic motte and bailey anymore if this is how you talk to me. You have no power over me, I am respected on multiple chains. I'm on many boards, helping growing actually decentralized chains. I don't need to simp or rely on anyone to get ahead here. I don't rely on Hive to make a living. You have no leverage over me and you should look outside your echo chamber and see the rest of the crypto industry sees you as a laughing stock. At the end of the day, my heart goes out to Hive. I have been on steemit since 2017 and have seen much turbulence. All I want is better outcomes for Hive as a whole, not just the small in group you serve. All I've done is think critically, ask questions and make suggestions. There was a time when I considered being a larger stakeholder here so I could have a more direct impact but I'm not willing to facilitate fraud nor take a gamble with so much chicanery going on here so I am fully aware that all I can do is make suggestions and advice. I also respect others autonomy so I actually prefer when people decide for themselves what their values are and act accordingly. I have been harsh but this is in response to how you speak to me.

Ultimately, you have failed to answer a simple question. How do downvote trails promote growth on Hive? Instead of answering the question my question, you pivoted to how it provides safety. I would be way more willing to grant you that like I said before and if you just said safety instead of growth then we could have had a more constructive conversation. However these two values are at odds with each other and I can substantiate how downvoting off boards people and has a hefty churn rate. These things are negative growth. But instead of refuting my positions, you attempt to attack my character here. Pathetic. This signals to everyone that you don't have a valid argument or just can't debate. I am willing to admit I have come in a little hot and could discuss this on a more level headed paradigm but your antics induce this. Talk to me civilly and you get civility in return. You can't play the victim card and expect unidirectional good faith. Life doesn't work like that. You're a hypocrite. You expect good etiquette from others but do not practice what you preach.
