Those were not just downvotes those were reports about people milking the system or a guy who was showing porn on ecency frontend to children and employees in offices(sponsored section of ecency is not monitored by them). Stopping people to farm rewards is a thing which you disagree to. See the case @ali-raza (for your claims of stopping hive growth. We don't want people like him on hive also it was his 600+ account).
