Well, let's start the new year with a new folder of photos, 2019, as I promised. I just recently finished editing these photos.

In mid-January it got warm and I got out into the nearest forest. Although I really do not like the winter forest because of its impassability, especially because of the deep snowdrifts. It is very difficult to walk on them. The path that I covered in 5 minutes, in winter I cover almost 20!
This species of woodpeckers can be found at any time of the year and in any weather. However, in winter it stays on the upper tier, which makes it very inconvenient for observation.

These nimble yellow-bellied friends, in addition to forests, are often found in the courtyards of cities in winter. While I am writing this text, they are literally outside my window, I treated them to peanuts.
馃 The Eurasian nuthatch or wood nuthatch (Sitta europaea)

And these guys are rare in city yards. The exceptions are places where they are used to being fed. We have a couple of places in the city where they are completely tame, and dade themselves beg for food from passers-by.
